Terms of Use

BBYB provides general financial-readiness education. The Services do not provide individualized legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, lending, credit-repair, or financial-planning advice. Course completion does not guarantee a credit score, approval, apartment, vehicle, job, income, financial result, or avoidance of loss.

BBYB Teen is designed for ages 16 through 18. Users must provide accurate information, protect their login credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. A user under the age of majority should participate with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. Each account is for its authorized learner or purchaser and may not be sold or publicly shared.

The current individual price for BBYB Teen is $299 as a one-time payment for lifetime access, unless a different approved price or promotion is displayed at checkout.

“Lifetime access” means access for as long as BBYB continues to operate and make the applicable digital program available. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser or learner and does not guarantee that every lesson, feature, platform, or delivery method will remain unchanged.

Payment is processed by Stripe or another displayed provider. Buy-now-pay-later availability, approval, repayment terms, fees, and eligibility are controlled by that provider.

Unless a signed agreement states otherwise, institutional purchases provide access only to the number of named student seats purchased. Seats may not be resold, publicly shared, or transferred after substantial course use.

• 10 named students: $1,500
• 25 named students: $3,000
• 50 named students: $5,000
• 100 named students: $8,500

Each activated named student receives lifetime access under Section 3. Custom workshops, facilitation, branding, curriculum modification, integrations, reporting, implementation, and staff training are not included unless stated in a written order or agreement. Applicable taxes are additional.

Because BBYB Teen provides immediate access to a substantial digital course, purchases are generally final after course access is activated. If you experience a duplicate charge, cannot access the course, or believe a purchase was unauthorized, contact info@buildbeforeyouborrow.com within 14 days. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

You may use the Services for personal, household, or expressly licensed educational use. You may not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, distribute, or create a competing product from BBYB content; share restricted course materials or credentials; circumvent access controls; interfere with security; use the Services unlawfully or deceptively; submit another person's private information without authority; or upload unnecessary sensitive financial information.

BBYB may suspend or terminate access for a material violation, fraud, security risk, chargeback abuse, or unlawful conduct.

You retain ownership of original content you submit and grant BBYB a limited license to host, process, reproduce, and display it only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Services and administer enrollment. BBYB will not publish a student's name, testimonial, course work, image, or story for marketing without appropriate permission.

The Services, curriculum, lesson structure, text, graphics, tools, branding, downloads, videos, and other BBYB materials are owned by or licensed to BBYB and protected by intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred. Printing or downloading is permitted only where expressly allowed and only for authorized use.

The Services depend on third parties for hosting, authentication, payment processing, communications, and other functions. Third-party terms may apply. BBYB is not responsible for third-party services outside its control, subject to responsibilities that cannot lawfully be disclaimed.

Uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security issues, provider outages, legal requirements, or improvements may affect access. BBYB may update course content to correct errors, reflect changes, improve safety, or enhance instruction.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. BBYB disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain disclaimers.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BBYB and its owners, licensors, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or financial decisions based on general educational content. BBYB's aggregate liability will not exceed the amount paid by the claimant for the applicable Service during the preceding 12 months. This does not apply where prohibited by law.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold BBYB harmless from third-party claims arising from your unlawful use, infringement of another person's rights, unauthorized sharing, or material violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by Missouri law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Cass County, Missouri, except where applicable law permits a consumer to proceed elsewhere. These Terms do not impose an arbitration clause or class-action waiver.

You may stop using the Services at any time. BBYB may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for fraud, security threats, unlawful conduct, nonpayment, or a material violation. Provisions that logically survive termination remain effective.

We may update these Terms as the Services or legal requirements change. Material changes may be communicated through the site, account, or email. Changes will not retroactively reduce already-purchased access except where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, security, or preventing abuse.
